"Always a pleasure to visit here- friendly staff and good facilities. We will be back!"

"Hotel and staff were excellent.I had a bad experience at another hotel in Peterborough that didn’t accommodate my disabled friend well. I booked this at very short notice and they could not be more accommodating. Hotel was spotless, food excellent. The onsite restaurant was absolutely delicious- it’s a grill/steak restaurant- very high quality. Will definitely return."

"Lovely clean, spacious and comfortable room. Enjoyed breakfast, plenty of choice. Spa amenities were nice but spoilt a little by noisy children’s swimming lessons between 3 and 7."

"Excellent dinner and delicious breakfast. The staff were very accommodating when we asked for a dessert off menu. Wonderful strong shower. The plumbing in England keeps getting better."

"Clean, quiet and warm. What else for a business trip"

"My room was a lovely suite with its own kitchen and sofa. I think furniture lay out could be changed so you could watch TV from the sofa rather than just the bed. My TV didn’t work the first night but the staff fixed it the second night, and offered me another room if they couldn’t. Breakfast was nice and lots of choice. Hot food cooked fresh. "Terrific VFM, comfortable, warm & super breakfast (portions too big for oldies)."

"Lovely place."

"Really enjoyed the stay as normal Service experience excellent Room comfortable Food was good but think it needs a change"

"We were generally disappointed with the hotel. We paid for a better bigger room but were placed at the top of the hotel with a reasonably sized room. Lots of furniture in it which made it feel cramped. We think that a smell was being omitted from the air conditioner/ heater. Bathroom was indeed of a make up. Rust marks from the towel rail, mould on the shower walls and in the grouting. The wood was desperately in need of being painted and the loo and basin were on a low ceiling side which meant...

"Primarily chosen as it was near to an event we were attending at the Nene Valley Railway (a short drive from the pub). We liked that the accommodation was in a separate building to the pub (although the pub was not loud). Good breakfast, evening meals, and friendly staff. We have a lovely walk around the village one evening, went back following day to try the local tea rooms but they closed early which was a shame. Will definitely stay here again"

"Very helpful staff. Excellent food. Shower gel/ shampoo combo in the shower would have been appreciated!"

"Extremely well located for visiting Ely - a ten minute walk to the city centre/cathedral. Lovely quiet location. Cozy, very clean rooms. Fantastic food - breakfast and evening meal. Robert is a delightful host. A wonderful place to stay. Highly recommend.0"
