"Lovely staff as always. A few issues in our rooms (tv remote missing, wall lamp not working). Good breakfast, fresh and tasty. Excellent bar menu, very good smoked salmon sandwiches!"

"Ok. Raised voices in foyer ar arrival. Receptionist who checked me in was really nice and effective in processing my arrival. TV a bit small and basic and no function for casting. Breakfast bar ran out of usual granola and not replaced. Nothing really wrong, just not the relaxing enjoyable experience I usually get at the same hotel. "

"Had arranged for the hotel to have a taxi for us in the morning. Was waiting for taxi 1/2 hour past the time pickup was arranged. Spoke to taxi service and found out no reservation was made for us. Hotel dropped the ball big time. Not happy at all."

"We had a great Family room that has been refurbished, with a view of the pier/prom. Loads of space and really nicely decorated. Breakfast was good, with loads of choice at the buffet. If I had any criticism, it would only be that hotel bathroom designers hate people over 6ft"

"Room was huge - we had the disabled access one. The bathroom is the biggest I’d seen. A few stains on the carpet but they been scrubbed as best they could. Would have liked some bedside lights, ended up using the TV on a scrambled signal to give a little light. Staff were friendly and really helpful. To the point of intervening with parking because it’s free at the weekend. Top tip - if you’re heading to Winchester, get the bus. Bus stop a short walk away, the route I direct, every 10mins. £3 til 6pm then £1."
