"Great stay at the hilton"

"We have stayed here many times and generally it’s been very good, however on this occasion things were not on song, our first night the room was very noisy as a function was taking place and loud disco music until 1am, please avoid room 106. I did voice my complaint and reception staff moved us to a different room much better nights sleep second night. Reference to room 106, bed not comfortable and very low, bathroom was cold towel rail not heating up and loo seat falls down as won’t stay up....

"This spot suited us perfectly. Just a little removed from the center of town, but still very close to places to dine and sites to see. The staff was very helpful and offered good suggestions. The room was quiet and comfortable."

"We loved everything the the cave hotel offered,this time we only had a one night stay and our last stay was quite a while ago but on returning we certainly where not disappointed it was special we had our evening meal with them and that was wonderful we couldn’t take breakfast much to our disappointment it our room was really clean and welcoming really quite special as was everything about the CaveCastle Hotel Well done to every member of staff"

"The hotel was amazing. The room and bathroom were very spacious (the biggest hotel room I have ever stayed in). The staff were very kind and helpful. The hotel’s location is ideal for exploring York, with the city centre only a 10-minute walk away. The only downside I can think of is that the bath drain smelled a little funky, but I think that’s fairly normal for historic buildings, especially on the ground floor. "Good location 15 mins walk to centre along the river. Clean rooms and adaquite kitchen. Free morning pastries was a basket full of plain croissants not alot of choise there. Coffee machine was broke but hot water and coffee available in its place. We just made one in our room. Lovely veiw over the river."
