"Lovely hotel with beautiful grounds and great facilities. Only stayed for one night but enjoyed a quick swim in the pool and had a lovely evening meal and breakfast in the restaurant. Bedroom was a good size with comfy bed and everything needed for an overnight stay. The only thing that I think could be improved is the check in. I thought Malmaison was a little more upmarket than I found it but room was a good size, clean and the bed was comfortable - my only complaint was that you could hear a lot of voices from the corridor and adjoining room but this didn’t continue too late into the night. Reception staff were pleasant enough but slow and unable to help with basic questions such as ‘where can I find a postbox?’. The hotel was in a good location for what I needed and I would stay...
