I came to Ballarat to stay close to the lake (and see the Olympics display), and this property did the trick. No frills, simple room, but it worked for my stay. It was also within walking distance to a grocery store, which worked out well for my budget.

A very central location with a spacious room and great amenities. Didn't use any of the other onsite facilities however enjoyed a restful stay with easy access to nearby restaurants.

Very clean, reasonable price, cozy lay out, overall great experience.

Very nice place

Clean quiet room, perfect for my family to get some rest.

What a great historical hotel in the heart of Ballarat. The room was up to date and the staff was helpful with our luggage. We ate in the hotel restaurant and the food was delicious and the service excellent. There was no problem with parking on site, especially upon our late night return from the Sovereign Hill Aura event.

Only thing is that the Wifi is not stable.

What a delightful hotel to stay at. The room was quality focused and very big.

The suites are an amazing value for money for a visit you will never forget! Forget business class to Australia. Spend the money you save to spend on food, wine and exceptional hotels once you arrive. Just a thought!

From the moment I arrived, the staff was welcoming, friendly, and helpful. My little cabin was great - clean and comfy with plenty of tea and biscuits. I had wi-fi, TV, a comfy bed with an electric blanket, and was close to some of the Ballarat attractions. One of the staff even offered to drive me to the station when it was time for me to leave. I will definitely return for an even longer stay next year!

Fantastic 😍

I want to live in this apartment! Situated in a fully renovated art deco-era apartment block, only a few houses back from Lake Wendouree, this place was perfect for our overnight stay. Clean, comfy, reasonably priced, great communication with the host. The artworks were impressive too. We'll definitely be back.

Fit the bill, clean, cheery, convenient location, large room with comfortable bed, microwave, mini fridge, large bathroom no tub. Excellent price point, efficient and proactive check in clerk.
