"For such an expensive hotel, I was disappointed that so many things went wrong just on a one night stay. When I checked in at 11:30 at night tired from a long flight, I was immediately asked to handover my passport or driving license as an identification. Not that I mind doing that, but the way I was asked, without a friendly welcome felt rather abrupt. When it came to leaving the deposit, two cards were rejected, that both turned out to have adequate funds on it, and then from my credit card...

"Great location in central Amsterdam, near everything. Hotel was well preserved, my only criticism is that a few USB chargers would go a long way in the rooms: there were none. Breakfast was very good and staff were conscientious and helpful. I will use this hotel again."

"Eenpersoonskamer op de de 5de verdieping: heel veel geluidsoverlast, ook van hangjongeren. Eerste avond om half 2 's morgens naar de receptie gebeld omdat hangjongeren in groep al uren aan het roepen waren voor het hotel. Dit heeft nadien nog zeker een uur geduurd."
