"The staff was wonderful! Dinner and breakfast were perfect.
However, the bathroom was another story. It was pretty evident there was an ongoing problem with a water leak. The water from the shower soaked the floor and rotted away the framing on the bathroom door and mold was evident as a result of not being dealt with overtime. Very disappointing! ☹️"
"Loved the place from the room to the food very nice. Also I played 3 rounds at the golf course and would absolutely love to play again and will recommend to my friends."
"The hotel is a true old world charm property set in a very peaceful and serene environment. The property is well maintained and the rooms are very comfortable. The bed especially is very comfortable. The food and service is also excellent even though it is very full at weekends as it is a popular wedding and event property. There is a true commitment to quality and sincere warmth in both staff and housekeeping."
"The castle alone was really nice. They were doing renovations so the dinning area was closed. Only the dungeon Bar was open. I was a little disappointed with that and planned a nice evening dinning. The library bar was closed at night due to under staff. Which again I could of stayed in the dungeon bar but the library would of been a nice evening event. Overall, I would recommend people to stay there. They stated the other areas in the castle should be open soon. We went for a couple of walks...
"The hotel is conveniently located just a short drive from the town. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Our room was a good size and the buffet breakfast was a great start to each day."
