"We had a terrible arrival given we reserved with Expedia and it turns out the hotel did not have our contact information. Consequently they did not share the precious information about parking, they naturally share when booking directly with the hotel. We were a party of 6 with two rooms booked and arrived with two cars following GoogleMap directions until we got stuck in a pedestrian street behind a retractable ground plot that required a code to open. We were stuck in traffic with cars honking...

"One night stop en route south. Central hotel with parking. Walking distance to the city. Very helpful and informative staff. Really clean and breakfast was amazing, with everyone and everything catered for. If you can't find what you like for breakfast there, you need to stay at home! Reception staff were great with directions and places to visit and the staff at breakfast couldn't have been more helpful. Recommended."

"We used the hotel as a convenient stop before taking the ferry to Newhaven. Parking is very limited but a large carpark directly opposite the hotel is reasonably priced. We ate dinner at the hotel and this was generally very good. Nice large sea view room will everything you need. Complimentary water, tea & coffee. Improvements could be a walk-in shower rather than over bath. We would stay here again without hesitation."
