"The shower was not hot and it came out rustic and smelly. Breakfast was good and sufficient. Parking was plentiful. The hotel is tired, needs a bit of revamp, more cheerfulness. We found it dark and dingy."
"Hotel with a lot of character but with modern facilities. Very spacious and comfortable room.
Very close to the station and easy to walk to main areas of Rouen.
Very friendly and helpful staff."
"The property has an excellent location in the old city close to the cathedral (expect some bells!). The staff were very friendly and helpful.
Our only crticism is that Expedia described the hotel as having "laundry facilities". If you screen for "washer and dryer", Expedia gives a positive result for the hotel. When we enquired, we were told that the hotel has a laundry service (several Euros for each item) but no washer and dryer for guest use. We were directed to a nearby laundromat. ...
"An excellent choice. Drawn to it by the availability of Tesla charging onsite, the hotel proved to be just what we needed before continuing our journey back to the UK. Hotel had everything we needed and more, was quick and easy to check in, had a very good restaurant onsite with cheerful and helpful staff. Place is very, very quiet and has plenty of parking. We'll definitely be staying again."
"La plus grande des chambres de notre séjour en France, bel hôtel moderne, bon restaurant sur place, possible de réserver le stationnement intérieur, près de la vieille ville."
"The staff are friendly and helpful. The bar food is basic but the hotel is very close to other options. It us my preferred choice for this area of France."
"The hotel is charming and in a lovely setting on the river. It feels like they have recently updated the rooms and bathrooms but the carpets are horrendous. When you walk into the hallways the stains are so bad that I didn't want to stay there and was immediately worried about the rooms. The rooms were nice but with the same terrible carpet. FIrst impressions matter and it is a bad first impression.
The restaurant is wonderful, breakfast was great with views of the river. No elevator to...
"Fantastic hotel in a peaceful and quiet setting. Possibly the best hotel we have ever been. Staff is so friendly and made us feel at home. We will be coming back 100 procent."
"The surroundings of the hotel are incredibly beautiful and pleasant. Even just spending time at the hotel seems like it would make for a delightful vacation."
