"L)lcArrived after 3pm and were told that room was not ready so could not check in. Was told that hotel was very full and many rooms were still not cleaned. Why are more clean staff not brought in when hotel is full up? We had a 5pm party (not in hotel. Finally got key at 4:15pm. This rush was truly unacceptable! "I was charged for bed and breskfast, but on arrival told, no breakfast; that was a mistake. Also no coffee or tea facilities in room or indeed anywhere on premises. Had to go to Tim Horton's. Absolutely no soundproofing. Could hear conversations in the next room and their television, as well as phone calls in check in. House is lovely and the room was nice, but i had calked ahead and asked for a room with a bath and got only a shower. For over $230 a night i expected better."
