"Hotel located near a convenience store. Walkable to some resto. . Staff very nice and helpful in calling taxi. Room is clean but bed is too soft and not good for someone with back pain. Breakfast is average."

"No one to help with luggage; front desk would not make dinner reservation--told to walk downstairs and do it myself; very small room; sink and vanity in bedroom area instead of the bathroom; no English television station; no view from bedroom to outside; charge for everything, for example the cappuccino at breakfast and ice at bakery; gym is very small, cold, bad smell, no water and no towels; service staff often unfriendly and unprofessional. Not recommended!"

"Room was excellent (although we did notice some slight mould buildup around a vent), central Kyoto easy to get to and nice and close to the staion as well, overall was a great stay. The only downside we found was the breakfast selection in the morning was somewhat limited, but if you are looking to spend a few days in Kyoto this is a great hotel to do it at!"
