"Our stay at the Bären was fantastic. The staff is absolutely wonderful, friendly, accommodating. The Hotel and room is very clean. We were able to do early check in and our room had a little fridge and microwave, which was fantastic because we travelled with a toddler. They also put in a little bridge between the two single beds so we could all sleep in the big bed, no baby bed needed. The location is so close to all public transit and endless restaurants and shopping opportunities. It's very close to the parliament building. There is a public market on Saturday and Sunday everything is closed (shops, grocery stores) but restaurants/coffees are open. Overall a great location, quiet (if you get the courtyard rooms) and a very pleasant stay."

"First time in Bern. I love the city and hotel. Room was very clean and modern. Staff was very attentive. The city's bus/tram service stops accross from hotel, so you can be in downtown or old town in about 15 minutes. Added perk, if you're on 4th floor or higher, you get a nice view of the alps!!"

"The property is very beautiful. We didn't realize you had rooms with airconditioning but in Switzerland people don't typically ask. The fan in the room did OK. Your front desk help us with the bus tickets for the time we were in Bern, such a wonderful convienence. We enjoyed your breakfest each morning. I think you need a non-smoking are outside for dinner as my wife doesn't do well with smoke. Loved the hotel and your staff."
