"I don't usually write reviews but Morgan was so helpful I had to write one. We arrived with 2 young children who had just had a long ferry and car journey and needed to move! She was so accomodating, patient and helpful with us all while she was giving us local recommendations and answered all our questions. She also provided us some milk for the children in the evening when we couldn't get any from the shop. Thank you! The breakfast was also very good."

"Beautiful property great location. My major issue was with the air-conditioning. There was none. It was a hot day in Amboise and the room was stifling. I opened the window to cool down but got bit by mosquitoes. I spoke to the front staff who said their heating and cooling were an eco-friendly system that didn’t work well on extreme temperature days. Other than that lovely day."

Unfortunately our room did not have a mini refrigerator which is unusual for a 4 star hotel and when I booked I thought all the rooms came with one but I was informed not ours, which was very inconvenient. The pool area is lovely but there are no pool towels readily available and they frequently run out when they were requested. "Hotel Au Charm Rabelaisein is a lovely boutique hotel centrally located in Amboise. We were able to walk everywhere. The room was spacious and comfortable with a view of the Amboise Castle from our window. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet each day. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The town of Amboise is special and our accommodation here made us feel right at home. We would definitely recommend this as a top place to stay in the Loire Valley."

Mais qui a malheureusement montrer plusieurs limites sur une période de forte chaleur : pas de climatisation dans la chambre, manque de parasols autour de la piscine. Des ventilateurs ont été mis en chambre, nous avons apprécié, mais malheureusement pas suffisant pour passer une nuit correcte au vue des chaleurs.
