"A perfect place to kick back and relax in the sun, swim in the ocean (or one of two pools), and take it easy. I enjoyed the casual evening entertainment (a talented singer and band by the pool). The staff was friendly, and the restaurant in a beautifully-restored wooden dhow was a special experience. This is apparently a German-owned resort and German-speaking guests would feel especially at home here. "

"My wife and I, along with our 10-month-old baby, had the pleasure of staying at Southern Palms in Mombasa in September 2024, and it was an absolutely delightful experience. The food at the resort was nothing short of amazing – we truly could spend the entire day indulging in the variety of delicious offerings. "This place was so so beautiful! All staff but 1 was wonderful! Very nice and clean! Walkable to the beach, shopping, dining and my mums house! Thought it started free breakfast we did not get! Otherwise I would highly highly recommend and I would for sure stay again the 2 bedroom, 2 bath with private pool was amazing! The staff that did help us was absolutely the best! "
