"Easy to find and park at the hotel - clean room and staff were helpful. Breakfast was decent too. There was an iron and board in the room and WiFi was good enough for teams calls."
"Bed was super comfortable however was given. King-size room; however it backed onto the kitchen and pub next door where noise was an issue last time I stayed there
The upgrade was an extra 100 pounds which was appreciated but the room carpet was dirty. Air conditioning was amazing must say and sheets were super clean though the bedspread had a stain. The issue with the hotel is that attention to

"If your looking for an overrated hotel then this is your place!!! Dated old dirty pillows, hair in the bed, chips in the mirror bed so uncomfortable you might aswell sleep on the floor dirty towels, don't get me started on the parking fee aswell, 9 pound!
Reception staff on arrival grumpy as hell!
Reception staff when leaving very nice and helpful shame they wasn't working when we arrived!
Overall wished we had just booked a Premier inn that worked out cheaper with decent beds aircon and all that...
"Really lovely stay for a wedding at High House. Ben was attentive and our room was spacious and clean. They even provided earplugs due to the bell tower across the road. Would definitely recommend!"
"A lovely place to stay , all the staff were fantastic from the moment we arrived .
Location wise really good close to the local pubs and restaurants.
Located not far from Leigh train station so handy if you want to go on the train , we had parking at the hotel .
Would recommend staying"
"Our stay at this hotel was very comfortable. All staff were friendly and helpful at all times. Our room was a standard room at the top of the house and it was very clean with a nice ensuite and a comfortable bed. The decor and furniture enhanced the room giving plenty of space to put our clothes and personal effects. Food was very good, we had a three course dinner and the food was delicious.
Breakfast was also very good with a good and varied choice on the menu. Toast was available on...
"This place is a gem. The owners are warm, welcoming and very helpful, and so are the rest of the staff. The place is reminiscent of the best of a traditional guest house, but with a modern clean feel. The amenities in the room were plentiful, and with the guests’ comfort in mind. The extra touches were much appreciated, as was the cleanliness and cotton sheets. The breakfast room is bright and airy, with white linen table cloths and pretty china. The breakfast is generous and good. The hotel is...
"No checking in service at all. No prior instructions were given. We were helped into our apartment by the lady who owns the jewellers downstairs. We were woken at 6.45am on a Sunday to the sound of scaffolders and a traffic management company setting up to commence install scaffolding at 7am on the building we are in with no prior communication from the host this would be happening otherwise I wouldn't have booked there. By 8am there was a workman outside my first floor bedroom window so I had...
