"Rooms are very nice and the view of the Arenal Volcano from all of the rooms is amazing on clear days. The included breakfast is very good with a great variety of foods including local specialities like gallo pinto, chicharron with salsa verde, fresh fruits, fresh squeezed orange juice, coffee and lots of other hot items. The staff are all very nice and make the effort to remember you and your name throughout your stay. The hot springs facilities are amazing to relax in after a day of exploring...
"We had such a wonderful stay! The property is beautiful, peaceful, and very well maintained. The entire staff was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive throughout our stay.
One of the biggest highlights was the food. The hotel restaurant truly went above and beyond our expectations—everything we had was delicious, fresh, and beautifully prepared. We honestly looked forward to every meal!
Overall, we had an amazing experience and would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting...
"La vista es espectacular y la habitación, sin duda, de las mejores. Lamentablemente, el servicio al cliente no estuvo al nivel esperado, particularmente durante la cena, donde la atención fue francamente muy deficiente y afectó de forma importante nuestra experiencia. Angie, por su parte, fue excepcional con los detalles extras solicitados para decoración y destacó positivamente por su atención y disposición."
"The property is absolutely beautiful, the views are stunning and the staff at the hotel were extremely accommodating. Every single meal was delicious and expertly presented. It couldn’t have been a better honeymoon location!"
"We had such a wonderful 5 night stay as a family of 4 at El Silencio de Campo. It was nice that every room was its own villa. The property is lovely and nicely sized but not so large that it was overwhelming. My kids milked a cow at their farm and enjoying seeing all the animals (horses, mini horses, chickens and other fowl, cows, and a pig). The hot springs were nice - it’s not a huge complex of hot springs like the nearby big resorts but I found it to be sufficient for us. The restaurant was...
"Staff super helpful. Because I am direction challenged, I had a problem with finding the exact location. GPS was not helpful either. Signs point in general direction but I still needed to ask a few local people."
"Great experience here. Only reason for the 4 star overall was because the price is high for what you get, the free breakfast was very limited due to the season we went and the jacuzzi’s were under maintenance so couldn’t be used."
"Me gustò la ubicaciòn, el acceso a los termales (piscinas) cerca de la habitaciòn. Deben acondicionar los baños, en especial el calentador de ducha, dificil para bañarse. No tener perros en el area donde se come."
"The hotel has the right kind of luxury for Monteverde, not flashy or high-tech, but everything is clean and nice, staff is helpful, the location is great and the place is beautiful. The sauna and the jacuzzi are GREAT, and we had monkeys crossing the trees above us while we relaxed there; the food is delicious. We loved our stay!"
"Rustic lodges in the trees, small family run property (only 4 lodges). Lovely owners, breakfast brought to your lodge each morning - eggs, toast, jam & fruit. Fridge, kettle and coffee maker in room. Although it isn't far to Monteverde you would need a car."
"We stayed for three nights. The rooms were spacious, clean, with comfortable beds. The staff is amazing (I’d like to call out Adonis who is part of the dining/bar staff) and very helpful. The breakfast is also really nice. It is conveniently located a short walk from the town center. Overall, ticked all the boxes."
