"For the price point and the services offered I do not feel like this hotel was worth it. The hot tubs were both broken. There was no one at the outdoor bar one night and to grab a beverage from the restaurant inside was very slow. I asked for extra towels from the front desk, waited 15 minutes and called again to follow up. The towels came over and hour later by the time I was ready for bed. For $1,700 for 4 nights it was not worth it."

"We stayed at the Fairmont Queen Elizabeth during our trip to Montreal and were blown away. We booked late after an issue with another accommodation fell through, so our room wasn't ready until three hours after check in. The manager more than made up for it, upgrading us to a better room at no extra cost and sending up dessert and fruit as an apology. The room was spotless, the service was excellent, and the pool and hot tub were fantastic. Don't hesitate to stay here. Worth every penny."

This means that multiple rooms on your floor could be tenant apartments, and during my stay, several tenants were legally smoking cannabis. "The location so close to the Place d'Armes was great - we enjoyed the live performers, and the proximity to the downtown, Vieux Port etc. It's also a short walk to the Metro, so very convenient.
