"The property was incredibly spacious, it felt a little dated at first but the bedrooms and bathrooms have been updated to an excellent standard. The kitchen/lounge area was very well maintained and equipped with everything needed. We enjoyed a relaxing afternoon in the pool area, had an excellent steak in the brasserie and breakfast in the lounge before we left."
"We stayed in one of the offsite casa style rooms which was perfect for our family (we were parents travelling with two teenagers). Room was clean and had all we needed for our two night stay. We appreciated the afternoon scones and tea in the main hotel. We were surprised that our rooms didn’t have any housekeeping between our first and second nights so I’m not sure if that was part of the casa room service or not but our request for addition towels was taken care of quickly!"
"Our Lodge, number 1, lovely, clean and well positioned. Everything you could need in the kitchen and more for a successful self-catering holiday.
The whole site was quiet when we visited. Easy walking distance into the town."
"The house is huge and beautiful with every possible appliance! The farm animals are so friendly and weren’t fazed at all by my two dogs. Anthony was a wonderful host also. There was an issue with the water but Anthony kept us going with bottled supplies and it wasn’t an issue at all.
Each of the bedrooms has its own beautiful bathroom and the balconies are lovely, especially when the peacock comes up to say hi!
I would highly recommend and wouldn’t hesitate to stay again! "
"Drove for 7 hours and there was no answer at the door. The phone number provided is no longer live and no answers via emails. Spent hours driving around looking for alternative accommodation. Tried again later in the day. Still no answer. Stranded in the middle of nowhere! AWFUL!!! Tears!!!
Managed to get into a caravan site 14 miles from where we needed to be. No supplies but coped. Home now! Still nothing from this property. Presume it is no longer active. Impossible to contact Hotels.com. "
