"Seven was very well located on the top of the cliff overlooking the pier and close to the cliff lift. It had a private car park at the back.

The room was clean and tidy and well equipped. Our room had plenty of hanging space but no drawers or useful shelves for clothes. Tea and coffee provided. My only comment would be the bathroom door opened through the walk in shower which was a bit odd, if someone was in the shower you couldn't...

"We recently stayed for 2 nights in the Reynolds Room, in the main hotel, which was a really lovely room, quiet with wonderful views. Loved the bathroom products and the towels were fabulous and clean. There were 5 roller blinds to close every night and open every morning, which was fiddly and there were gaps of light coming through during the night and especially at day break. "We stayed at the Lifehouse for 2 nights. The grounds, although a little tired from this summer's drought, are spectacular, with plenty of quiet space to walk among trees and around the beautiful lily pond etc. Sadly the outside of the buildings range from unpreposessing to downright ugly, perhaps similar to a medical facility.
Food both at dinner and breakfast, is consistently above average. Most staff are pleasant and helpful.

"Our stay at this hotel was very comfortable. All staff were friendly and helpful at all times. Our room was a standard room at the top of the house and it was very clean with a nice ensuite and a comfortable bed. The decor and furniture enhanced the room giving plenty of space to put our clothes and personal effects. Food was very good, we had a three course dinner and the food was delicious.
