"The Riverside is close to the centre of Salisbury but still easy to get to, no narrow streets and plenty of easy parking. The river view room was modern, clean, comfortable and very pleasant. The access to the garden and the river bank was a real plus. The breakfast buffet was good, fill up here and you will barely need lunch! The only minor problem is that the gravel on the car park isn't friendly to wheeled suitcases."
"Probably one of the worst 3 star hotel bedrooms (room 12) we have ever stayed in. The bathroom was terrible, ceiling paint was peeling off, shower seal was broken causing the floor to flood, toilet roll holder was hanging off, soap dispenser was broken, door handle did not work and signs of damp or roof leak staining on the ceiling.
The bedroom was no better, window was rotten and could not be opened. Paint peeling off the window and radiator, black mould on the window catch, provided fan was...
"We stayed twice in quick succession, the first room was very small, but the second room was quite nice. It is an 800 year old building so not everything is perfect, but the food and service is great. The bathrooms were clean in both rooms.
Parking is half a block away, so you need to plan out the unloading/loading a bit, that turned out to not be a big deal, but not expecting that caused us to spend quite a bit of extra time initially."
"I have stayed a few times over the years and i think its a great value pub with rooms i stayed 3 nights and my room was good as always, the team were all good and i would recommend to friends and family without hesitation."

"Lovely pub/restaurant with rooms in a picturesque small village. We had a great dinner and the service throughout our stay was fantastic (thank you Matthew). I wasn’t aware this was part of a chain at the time of booking but I shall be looking out for Butcombe Pubs in future."

"Stayed here a few times now and like it a lot. The staff is great, it’s easy to get to, great for parking, clean, and you can even walk to a great view of Stonehenge if you’re up for a wander. Breakfast is excellent and dinner and drinks are good in the common area. Great place."
