It was very quiet at night too, no banging doors, although not sure if it was because the hotel itself was quiet. The only negative was that the room was incredibly hot at night. "A friend and I went to Frome for a wedding, and staying at the Archangel was perfect. It was close to the wedding, shopping and Frome itself was lovely. The staff was friendly and helpful, the venue had a wonderful series of quiet rooms, eating areas and our room was wonderful. The steel and brass fittings and stone work were beautiful. My one piece of feedback would be for our room; it had narrow steps up to the room which I think would not work for anyone who had disabilities. If the room does...

"The first sight is exactly as the photo of the Inn, and we walked in to a happy and friendly pub, not rowdy, and collected our keys to our room which was as shown in the website. Generous with tea, coffee and milk, plus a pair of binoculours to look out onto the hill behind. "Accommodation was great, couldnt want for anything more. Rowema was an amazing host. Breakfast was high quality and convenient. Hotel is set in beautiful scenery and boasts a fantastic kids play area. "

"Lovely, greeted with a smile and checked straight in, the room was nice clean and comfortable, breakfast is basic but I didn’t mind as I only have small breakfasts, my only advice to travellers would be check if the kitchen is open for evening meals during your stay, it wasn’t on my 1st night however there was a great pub just up the road. I will definitely stay here again, I didn’t get the ladies name behind the bar, but a big shout to her she was great."
