"On main road so expect noise didn’t worry us. Hotel is old so a bit shabby and outdated. No towel rack in room, so doing green thing and not changing towels daily ended up with wet towels next day for shower. Shower over bath. Cold shower second day blamed on tour bus group leaving that morning, there system should be able to cope. Very convenient bus to York city just across the road and only 2 pounds per adult, more convenient and cheaper than driving car in. "

"The staff were really friendly. Had a welcome pack for my young daughters. Late check out of 11am. Breakfast really well stocked. Additional £10 for 4 of us to have breakfast when we booked through Expedia. Pool was good and we could still use this after check out. Very quiet pool, has it to ourselves most the time.
