"Beautiful hotel nice big beds and comfy. breakfast fabulous staff all helpful and was lovely to sit outside and have a drink at the old badgers which is situated within the hotel was beautifully lit up with heaters stopped in many hotels in Harrogate but this one was the best we’ve stayed in will def be returning x"
"Brilliant stay! Our room (family room) was lovely and spacious with lots of storage. The swimming pool was a great little pool with a toddler splash pool too, and great showers. Little sauna, steam room and jacuzzi were a nice extra, and the staff at the leisure club were very friendly. The breakfast buffet had lots of options - everything you need. Also loved how easy it was to access York on the buses."
"Hotel was very basic for a Holiday Inn. Restaurant seemed to be breakfast only and bar didn't ever look open. (Maybe the receptionist doubles as bar staff, I don't know.) There is only one lift so queues form. There was a mountain of pigeon poop on the outside window sill of my room, which was a bit gross. Inside was clean and location was fine, but I'm sure there are much better places in York at a similar price and location."
"We had a junior suite which was large. The room was clean but we noticed the hotel could do with some maintenance /upgrade. Carpet looked a bit old and the shower handles kept sticking. We had to ask for help.
Staff are very good and excellent breakfast."
"We stayed at this hotel for one night. The room itself was spacious but very worn. The chairs were falling apart and the carpet was very stained. The biggest issue was that the shower drain was blocked and would not drain. This made the shower unusable. The hotel would not move us to another room as they claimed to be fully booked. They also would not send maintenance to the room until the next day. This meant that we could not have a shower in our room."
"Had room only which was clean and tidy. The bed was a bit soft for us but we are use to a firm bed. Restaurant staff very friendly. Nice hotel all round and location was perfect for us."

Le cose negative sono la rumorosità, poiché fronte strada, la poca cura nella pulizia della camera, il prezzo elevato rispetto alla struttura e alla camera.
Inoltre il parcheggio dell’auto per 2 notti è costato 60 £, nemmeno in via Montenapoleone a Milano"
"The place was nice and in a good location but a little more attention to detail in the rooms is needed. Cobwebs on the lamp shades hanging from the roof and in the bathroom there was a strange circular wonky table that looked a bit out of place."
"Lovely hotel, have stayed here multiple times as a solo, women traveler and have had a pleasant stay each time. The decor isn’t the most ‘modern’, but I’ve never minded due to the price and location."
