"All of the staff, from reception and in the bar and breakfast are excellent as are the rooms and hotel but the food at night is 1star, I've stayed a couple of times and numerous items on the menu are not available and when served the quality of food is really poor and expensive. Breakfasts are very good and lots of fresh food available. A real shame about the evening food. A good reason to eat out."

"Comfortable and quiet hotel. Well situated and good free bus connections on Leicester hopper to the city and station. Feels new and looked after. Parking is limited at the hotel but nearby hospital pay and display car park could be used. We wanted quiet and the room was soundproofed. Nice bathroom. Developed a rash from the bed and reception moved us to a new room. The staff member suggested it was maybe cleaning products used by linen company. Hotel did say they would update us via email but...

"Stayed Friday my birthday was on the Saturday they wrote happy birthday on the mirror left me a piece of cake with happy birthday piped in chocolate on the plate. Only critical thing I would say that we were on floor 7 and the traffic noise seemed very loud, we have stayed before and been on different floors facing a different ways and traffic noise was not heard. Breakfast is very good lots of choice and good value for money excellent "

"The hotel is well placed for spending time in Nottingham and easy to reach on foot from most locations. Its car park is safe and secure too. All the staff were excellent, friendly and professional, where nothing was too much trouble. The only minor negative is that some fixtures and fittings are quite tired and a full refurbishment of the bedrooms must soon be on the cards to bring the hotel up to date."

"We were up for a race meeting at Domnington park. We usually stay in this hotel. Clean hotel, parking no problem (but there is a £6 overnight charge), and Moretti on draft in the lobby bar. Room cost was around £190 for a double. Paaid on arrival. Check-in was swift - no queue. Room was fine - a double. We didn't eat at the Runway restaurant but we did use the lobby bar again. Very clean accomodation , tea, coffee etc, bath with overhead shower, good thick towels the room was quiet cheap overnight at £43 pub/restaurant on site for breakfast and meals, mcdonalds 2 mins walk away. Good very clean comfortable good stay. "
