"I really loved the Red Lion, the whole place is truly well kept, the furniture and the decorations including the lovely framed prints are all amazing and the whole atmosphere is very welcoming and cosy. My room was very clean and reasonably spacious. I could not recommend the Red Lion more watmly. Very happy customer. Many thanks to the corteous staff too!"

"A characterful hotel in a great location. Our room was very spacious and in the old part of the hotel, full of old beams and quirky corners. Bed was large and comfortable. It was very quiet at night too, no banging doors, although not sure if it was because the hotel itself was quiet. The only negative was that the room was incredibly hot at night.
