"The hotel was outstanding. The staff was so friendly and helpful. The rooms were great. They welcomed us with a glass of wine in the lovely patio area. The restaurant is small but really nice. Coimbra itself is extremely hilly, but the hotel is pretty convenient and not too steep a climb. Roads are very narrow if you're driving a car."

A few things to consider for improvement though; the shower leaks onto the bathroom floor which soaked up the towels every time we had a shower. The bathroom floor therefore became very slippery, which could be quite unsafe if someone did not have fast reflexes (I almost slipped a few times).
