"We had an absolutely amazing stay at Valamar Tirena! The staff went above and beyond to make our visit special, especially arranging a surprise birthday cake and balloons for my wife. Everything was organised perfectly and made her birthday even more memorable. Maro World was a fantastic bonus for the kids, who absolutely loved it! A wonderful family-friendly hotel with excellent service. We couldn’t have asked for more and would definitely return!"

"A clean, modern property with an amazing, helpful staff. The on site restaurant is great for breakfast but does not serve any other food. The staff there is the best. There are not a lot of good restaurants in the immediate area, and definitely don’t go to the restaurant at the Porto Hotel next door, it’s awful. Location is good, about a €25 ride to Old Town."

"Amazing place and wonderful staff"

"Beautiful view from the property and the garden attached to our room. Check in staff were helpful , parking the car and carrying our luggage to the room. An easy walk to the old city, mostly downhill, taxi or rideshare back after a long day of sightseeing and climbing the old walls! The breakfast was outstanding, cooked to order and generous portions. The restaurant staff were very pleasant, professional and eager to please. We had dinner there one night and the food was delicious."

"Beliggenhet, rom og restauranter i nærheten."

"A beautiful location with a view of Gruz Harbour. Very easy to take a bus into Old Town (or an easy walk if you prefer). Ana provided lovely customer service! Was nice to be away from the busyness of Old Town. Kitchen was a great amenity but was missing a few things (no coffee maker or coffee provided / one wine glass / no dish towels...). As well, our bathroom was in need of an update - shower head & fan in need of repair. Overall though, we would still recommend as a good place to stay in...
