"A sleek modern four star hotel located in a busy section of Grenada (although the hotel was quiet). Our room was immaculate and comfortable. The staff was exceedingly helpful and friendly. It was easy to find a taxi stand (located across the street) for the 15 minute ride to Alhambra. It would have been a long, uphill climb to get there and our hosts at the hotel advised us to take a taxi. The hotel is also located only a short distance from the oldest part of town. He enjoyed our stay here and the hotel is highly recommended. "

"Barceló Carmen is in a great location for walking to Alhambra and the Arabic/romany quarter. There are lots of options for dinning close by. We did not take breakfast in the hotel-so was not able to evaluate. The room facilities were well thought out and everything was designed well for travelers. I would highly recommend this hotel. "

"The service at this hotel is outstanding! From check in to the breakfast buffet, housekeeping, etc. everyone was friendly and attentive. There is onsite underground parking (smaller cars better), a restaurant that serves all day and has a great tapas menu, and the breakfast buffet has lots of choice. The rooms are well appointed and comfortable. The hotel itself is easy to find as a driver and is about a 15 min walk from the centre. Highly recommend!"
