"Central location and staff spoke English and were helpful"

"Clean room, maid cleaned room everyday no matter when I left the room, Good massages and amenities. Good food at hôtel restaurant with a variety of food choices which was a break from same old same old offered outside. It was great!"

"Sink water pressure was low"

"I am visiting Uzbekistan from Japan and staying at this hotel in Samarkand for 4 nights starting October 13, 2026. Apparently, the hotel just opened in May 2026. Everything is brand new and clean, and the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. The art objects decorated throughout the hotel are also very lovely and fascinating. The breakfast offers a great variety and is delicious. The courtyard pool has a wonderful resort feel and is good maintenance —it looks great during the day, but I...

"Great massage at the spa. Good to be away from where all the tourists are. Good breakfast."

"I had a very disappointing experience at the Continental Hotel in Samarkand during checkout. My sister unfortunately lost her room key card, and the receptionist immediately told us we had to pay a $30 fine. I asked him to show me the hotel policy or any written terms stating that a lost card carries a $30 charge. He could not provide anything. When I questioned the charge, his behaviour became increasingly aggressive. I asked to speak to the manager so we could resolve the matter properly, but...

"Location of the hotel was one of the reasons we chose this hotel. Rooms were reasonable clean, but everything in this hotel slowly falls apart. Beds were were uncomfortable, and every time I turned I felt like I was falling down. Small window in bathroom wouldn't close and birds would poop inside, leaving bathroom smelling horrible. Breakfast was passable. Pool in pictures looked nice, but in reality is very small. Spa takes forever to heat up, planks are uneven and have nails sticking...

"Great place."

"When I was feeling under the weather and resting in my room, the hostess kindly brought me honey tea, easy-to-digest food, and medicine right to my room. They are truly wonderful people."
