"Staff at checkout was rude and had no respect whatsoever, saw that I was a brown person and questioned every fact, was travelling with a kid and questioned whether he was under 18 and the concierge thought I was trying to sneak so I can be “cheap”. The kid with me is in fact 15 years old. Other than that he was very disrespectful all in all, we pay a lot of money for these hotels because of their ratings and staff service but what’s the point when u have these stuck up racist staff members"

"L’endroit est vraiment malpropre. Nous avions une suite et lorsque nous avons ouvert le sofa lit, de la nourriture était écrasée sur le draps, on nous change de suite et cette fois il n’y avait pas de drap du tout, puis une 3 e suite et cette fois pas de drap plus de la nourriture au sol. 3 en 3 , vraiment inacceptable."

When we contacted the hotel manager about this very serious issue, instead of addressing our concerns, she tried to convince us that the hotel was not responsible. "Hotel Saint-Sulpice is perfectly located in Old Montreal with Notre Dame Basilica on the same block. The Metro is only a 5 minutes walk. The bar staff were friendly and helped with local attractions and food recommendations. Actually, all the staff were friendly and offered a smile and bonjour whenever I walked by. "The location was perfect. The restaurants were great and staff were so friendly and helpful. My one disappointment was that the rooftop was closed and it didn’t state that - the weather was beautiful so we had planned to enjoy that."
