"We really enjoyed our stay at Maison No to celebrate my partner’s birthday. Perfect location for enjoying Lyon, the staff were very welcoming and our room was extremely comfortable, we slept well and enjoyed the deep bath. We were also able to experience the rooftop bar and breakfast the following morning during our stay. We enjoyed some tapas and cocktails while watching the sunset and only have minor feedback for the breakfast - to ensure the eggs/bacon stay hot in the bain-marie and that the coffee machine is functioning properly. Overall it was a pleasant stay and we would return."

"The hotel is really nice, quite small, but very clean and very friendly and helpful staff. The room was really good too, the bed was so comfortable, we loved it! We didn't have breakfast so we can't comment on that, but it is offered at 20€ per person. There are soooo many really good Boulangeries in the city, so we preferred to explore those. Location wise it is pretty good. It's about a mile or so walk to the centre, and about another half a mile to Vieux Lyon, so if you want to be right in the thick of it, pick somewhere nearer. If you want something away from the main hustle and bustle, this is perfect. There is an absolute abundance of restaurants all around the city, so you won't have any issues wherever you stay. The only thing I will comment on is the air conditioning. It blows nice cold air, but the flow, size (it's about 50cm wide), and positioning of the vent, make it rather ineffective. It was quite hot the first two days we were there (33 Celsius) and we had to remove the duvet and just sleep with the cover, and it didn't really improve even when the external temps dropped by 10 degrees, despite the air con being on full blast the whole time. It's probably difficult due to the building, and it's the best they can do and ultimately would have been a lot worse without it, but thought it worth mentioning. It didn't affect our enjoyment of the stay at all though, it's just good to be prepared."

"We loved the historic nature of the hotel with its 200 year old stone steps. The rooms were spacious and the furniture comfortable, though dated. Breakfast offerings were varied, though they need a way to keep the eggs warmer."

"Clean room and bathroom was very spacious, lots of surfaces to leave your things on which was really useful. The staff were great and very helpful, location was convenient being in the old town area but near buses to take us to and from the train station. Lots of food options around. A small thing to note was that while our garbages in the room were emptied daily, the shared one in the hallway seemed to have wine glasses and cups and bottles on the floor around it from when we first arrived to when we left a few days later"
