"The room was roomy and clean. The only thing not good was you had to step into the bath to use the shower and there was no handle bar on the wall to hold on to. The staff was helpful in looking after our cases when we arrived before we could go into the room."

"Fabulous, our room 402 had a huge balcony with views over the estuary and of the pier. Staff were very friendly and attentive, evening meal of sharing steak was cooked exactly as we like it and breakfast was also very nice, highly recommend the full English for the hungry or sausage muffin. The location is also great, up on the cliff away from the noise but only a short walk to the lift and no more than 5 minutes walk to the pier. "Stayed here for 1 night to be close to Winters Barn for a family wedding. Place was easy to find, clean and comfortable. Shower hot and large rainforest style head which i loved. Staff friendly and accommodating, i needed an extension lead to dry my hair as no plugs near the mirror and the team were accommodating. Breakfast was nice too. Would stay again. Its also a short drive to main Canterbury city center. "

If the castle is meant for relaxation, why do delivery trucks wake you up at 6:30am? Who do they put guests right on top of each other when the place is nearly vacant?
