"The lighthouse is a lovely large bed and breakfast. Nothing was too much trouble for Rowena who was so helpful and friendly!! The grounds were beautiful and we enjoyed walks with our Labrador in the sunshine. The Decor of the rooms is lovely and so clean and modern. Loved the gold shower room, felt very upmarket hotel rather than a B&B! Our one criticism is that the room was super small, and we hardly had room for our dog plus luggage. The staff were very willing to accommodate vegan options on their meal choices and there was one vegan option on the specials board (please not risotto - why is risotto the goto vegan meal for every hotel - why not get some frozen beyond beef burgers and give a vegan burger option for instance) "

"All of the above plus convenient parking. Lovely pub garden and also seating space by the river opposite the front. Lovely village. Felt the worn mattress should be replaced. A weird dip in the floor and some plusher carpet. A bigger TV would make viewing from the bed easier. Nice bathroom that looks recent."

"A beautiful historical building, easy car park, warm welcome from Graham, shown to room, very clean spacious, and comfortable, had everything you need, very quiet and peaceful for relaxing, Breakfast choices were amazing and the service, all cooked to order, very fresh tasty ingredients, No amenities in the village but a short drive to Glastonbury and all the quirky folk and beautiful shops, cafés, a wonderful atmosphere of music and dancing in the square. "

It is in a pretty village good for walking outside. Plenty of parking. Would like to see double glazing on the windows as right by a road. "I was pleasantly suprise by the size and comfort of the rooms for the price, which although quite basic, were adequate for a short stay and great value. The staff were very welcoming and helped with our cases. It was a great location for walking to the shuttle bus. The downsides were the shared bathroom, steep stairs and no parking on site. "

"First, this isn't a spa hotel. The 'spa' area was closed, but even if open, it's tiny and definitely not comparable with a proper spa hotel. What the hotel does do is host big events, and they are noisy. We couldn't stay in our room as it was directly above the disco and although the staff did find us another room, it was tiny - no bath, no fridge, no view (barely a window). It was quiet thankfully, but it was not worth the cost and wasn't at all what we paid for. "
