"We had a week at Alonissos for our honeymoon and started our stay at Marpounta. We looked forward to a relaxing experience with all inclusive chilling on some sunbeds. For this purpose the hotel was perfect. But the stay started quite disappointing. Since it was our honeymoon I wanted the hotel to arrange a small attention for our arrival at the room. "It is a kilometre away from city centre but if you walk a half a kilometer, you will find restaurants, they just won’t have the same energy as the city center, which if you’re looking for a quiet environment is perfect. The staff were super friendly and I would highly recommend this hotel to anybody looking for an out of this world experience."

"This hotel is set in beautifully kept garden with 5 seperate buildings with 6 rooms in each with a central pool, reception, bar, restaurant area. All very clean and well looked after. The staff are all very friendly and really made you feek at home. Breakfast ran to 11 and it was all very relaxed...No one rushed for sun beds, no one put towels down early there were always many free all day. "Wij waren de laatste week van september in Kanapitsa Mare. Wij vonden het een matig hotel Sfeerloos, dode planten in bloempotten, TV zenders alleen Grieks, diverse lampen in kamers en gangen defect. In een brandslang zat zelfs een scheur, gemeld maar er werd niets aan gedaan. Een lik verf op al het houtwerk van het hotel is niet overbodig. Het hotel heeft 2 liften, 0 naar 3 en 3 naar 6. Daarnaast waren er veel trappen. Ontbijtruimte was kil en sfeerloos. Ontbijt was karig, weinig keuze en werd...

"A comfortable hotel that makes the most of the space it has, but could be so much better with just a few changes. Would defo come back. However, be prepared to get up early to secure one of the 20 sun beds, which is not enough for a 40 room Hotel. The free bus to town is well used and saves you the hassle of arguing with the Robbin taxi drivers. Overall a beautiful location and lovely hotel "
