"We loved the view ! We were able to see the ocean, food was fantastic and fun shops in walking distance. The hot tubs and pool and sauna were welcome after trekking about the beach all day. One mistake I made caused me to pay extra on the way home because my check in was over weight- I should have packed less and washed my clothes there. All in all great place to stay!"
"Nice motel which is a short walk from Orewa centre and directly across from beach.
Our room was newly renovated and was spotless and spacious with everything you would need.
Parking is a bit tight but adequate with street parking available if you have a large vehicle."
"This is our close get away from home via public transport. Less than half an hour from Auckland CBD on NX1 bus. Nice unit. Needed a bit of maintenance, but did not colour our stay. Close to ++ cafes and restaurants. 20 minute walk to Albany Mall."
"Perfect place for a romantic winter getaway. Stunning grounds, great room with lovely views, the lodge was cozy and the food was great - the breakfast in particular was amazing. Dinner was expensive but it didn’t disappoint and convenient onsite. No TV in the room but no need with the cozy fireplace. Bed was comfortable with nice linen. Mini fridge, good tea and coffee making facilities. Spa bath wasn’t working unfortunately but enjoyed the sauna. Would 100% recommend this place for a...
"Thank you for hosting us at your motel! The family-size room was perfect for us—spacious, comfortable, and just what we needed for our stay. We really enjoyed our time here and would happily stay again. Highly recommended!!"
"Despite the room being worn and dated, everything was really clean and fresh. There were ample towels in the bathroom, and these were changed during our stay. The kitchenette was adequately stocked. The room was good, although on the smaller side (we were three in a triple room). The staff were friendly (yet professional) and helpful whenever we needed anything. The underground parking was perfect as it rained a fair bit while we were there. For us, the location was spot on. Easy access to/from...
"the good points : The property is very nice and the views are remarkable . The location is ideally located close to beautiful parks beaches and restaurants and cafes and supermarkets . The person managing the property ( Irene ) did a very good job in terms of communication both before and during our stay . The property is ideal for a couple and I guess could work with 2 couples ( or 4 people) but has only one bathroom.
The not so good points : the property is not exactly kept very clean ...we...
"The accommodation is great, really spacious and modern.
WIFI is a bit sketchy, and seems to be shared with owners upstairs, along with the hot water, which honestly can take ages to come through and can take time to re heat itself.
Duvet in main bedroom leaves a bit to desire with stains all over it, was just thrown on the floor as luckily was hot enough not to need it.
But a really nice spacious apartment."
"During our stayed we encounter a lots of problem:
The lamp was damage at the front door.
The toilet fan was not working on the second floor room
TV is not working well.
The heater is not working/we need to spend a lots of time to find out what is the problem
There is no extra protable heaters available
Above issues was seciously ruin our mood, we need to spend time in fixing the heater during mid-night but at the end 7 of us was not able to shower or using hot water, immagine we took more than...
