"Room clean with comfortable bed and nice bedding. Lovely waiter in the restaurant from South Africa. Breakfast nice with order service for poached/fried eggs. Plenty choice at bar."
"Staff was helpful. Location is good. Lots on on-site parking. Beds and pillows and not comfortable.
Had to move rooms due to a major leak from the room above. Little to no compensation for the trouble. Lots of noise from hallways.
Nice bar and decent restaurant Greggs right next door. Rooms need to be updated. Parts of bathrooms are falling apart.
Pull outs beds are not comfortable."
"Comfortable beds.....pillows could have been better though.. liked the extras we had in mini fridge..and replenished if you asked. A bit noisy in corridor late at night....midnight...doors banging!!!.. breakfast good...plenty of choices"
"We used the hotel for a one night stay plus breakfast and a meet point for a coffee with family before our journey home up north. Hotel was beautifully presented, easy to find and clean. As with most hotels that are not new, there were small picky bits around the hotel that a good housekeeper would pick up on… light bulbs out, chip on ceramic bath tub, one bath towel in double occupancy, light discoloured curtains. "Stayed here many times visiting family, lovely place all round - staff, food, drinks, rooms, seating area - all great, look forward to our next trip 👍"
"The Riverside is close to the centre of Salisbury but still easy to get to, no narrow streets and plenty of easy parking. The river view room was modern, clean, comfortable and very pleasant. The access to the garden and the river bank was a real plus. The breakfast buffet was good, fill up here and you will barely need lunch! The only minor problem is that the gravel on the car park isn't friendly to wheeled suitcases."
"Probably one of the worst 3 star hotel bedrooms (room 12) we have ever stayed in. The bathroom was terrible, ceiling paint was peeling off, shower seal was broken causing the floor to flood, toilet roll holder was hanging off, soap dispenser was broken, door handle did not work and signs of damp or roof leak staining on the ceiling.
The bedroom was no better, window was rotten and could not be opened. Paint peeling off the window and radiator, black mould on the window catch, provided fan was...
"The hotel was great and had a relaxing atmosphere. Good food and the staff were helpful and friendly. The spa was nice but in the smaller side so I would try and go during quieter periods. The room was a good size and very clean. At breakfast there was a good amount to choose from if you don’t have any specific dietary requirements."
