"Great hotel, good points - hotel looks new though out, service was great excellent I cannot speak highly enough of the staff, breakfast superb and loads of sunloungers (plus bonus of the spa was great) the areas for me improvement were the food from the snack bar was fairly bland (it was ok but could definitely be better) & the pool is very very very cold! Great stay though and a huge amount to like about the hotel."

"Very good stay, quiet and safe. Walking distance from the beach and main strip with loads of restaurants for food options. Nearby beach clubs /restaurants in the day and the use of a day pass in their 5* sister hotel across the road which was great! "

"All of the staff were helpful and friendly. Breakfast was good with lots of options each day. The room was clean and housekeeping made the beds and changed the towels each day if needed. However the noise was horrendous. We are both easy going people but the building work started around 8am and continued all day. We came for a relaxing holiday and this really spoilt it. Our room was also above the breakfast area and the walls must be so thin. We could hear everything and it disturbed our sleep....

"The breakfast buffet was amazing. Good sized pool with many lounging spots. Just walk a few steps to beach. Get a sea view- otherwise your balcony looks on to other buildings."

"All was good. Very friendly people. Hotel's restaurant is very spacious with very quick and efficient staff. Food was as expected. Hotel holds 4 stars, but would say it is 3 star plus. The reason is bathroom is out of date, WiFi speed is bad plus you have to pay for it. There is 1h free per day but it is useless. In my opinion if you sell Internet, make sure it has no issues. All in all was satisfying "

"I absolutely cannot fault my mini break spent at the Universal Hotel Neptuno. All front desk staff, in particular, German and Daniel, were extremely helpful, patient, bilingual and approachable. The ideal that you want and expect from any hotel front desk abroad but rarely receive in reality. However this was the case for me, so checking in, booking excursions, recommendations for places to eat out, directions, booking taxis, holding my luggage after check out, any additional requests etc etc...
