"The property was lovely, the staff were all wonderful, dinner was excellent, and the location could not have been better. One person who checked us in went “above and beyond” to give us directions and a plan for visiting the national park. That was so very helpful."
"We arrived after dinner and our host greeted us kindly! Rooms are beautiful with modern elements in a farm house feel. Very quiet at night. Lovely morning breakfast with fresh eggs made to order ...also cheese, meats, coffee, yogurt...anything you need. Great place to stay!"

"We didn't choose this hotel. Our other accommodation cancelled the day before and Hotels.com found this option for us. I wouldn't have chosen a family hotel but we were desperate. Housekeeping was erratic - one day they emptied the bin, another day they made the bed, one day they cleaned the bathroom. Saggy mattresss & a gap between the bed and the wall so the pillow disappeared. Breakfast buffet excellent & lovely breakfast staff. When we went to use the indoor pool, there was nobody on...
"This was our 2nd time staying at Vila Stone. Nice clean spacious room in a house 10 minute drive from Plitvice National Park entrance. We even took some time to swim in their swimming pool. The stargazing from the property was amazing, too! Owner was friendly and welcoming."

When you first arrive, you are greeted by very polite and helpful staff members, and after you settle in you walk around the beautiful grounds and you immediately wish you had booked an extra day!! It’s peaceful , it’s clean, and only a short walk to entrance number 3 to the park.

"We loved our stay with Marko and his family during our visit to Plitvice Lakes Park. We booked two rooms for our family of 5 - one large 3-bedroom apartment with a full kitchen, and then one double room in the other building. Everything was comfortable, modern, and spacious. On checking us in, Marko gave us advice on the best way to see the park. Using the 3rd entrance, which is just down the road, is the way to go! You can use tickets for either entrance 1 or 2 at the 3rd entrance. Definitely...
