"Always an amazing experience at this hotel. Spacious rooms, extremely helpful staff. Great food. And of course the elephant experiences. The hotel had to react to the government disallowing elephant rides, and they added several new experiences. A few things such as the light switches, AC control etc. are a bit aged by now, but that doesn't take away from the overall top rating."

"We very much enjoyed our stay at Puri Gangga Resort in Ubud! Eventhough it is not far from shops, it is luxury hidden in the hills with beautiful views of tropical forest. We very much liked the way they had decorated the hotel with quality buildings, ancient statues, fountains and antique furniture. We loved the food. We had amazing breakfast and dinners. No aircon in the lounge (family room) 3) To get to the family rooms, you need the hotel car. "The hotel is a bit far from the city, but the peaceful location surrounded by fields and fresh air makes it worth the trip. The rooms were comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful. One suggestion is to call ahead and confirm lunch or dinner availability. During my stay, the restaurant was closed whenever I wanted dinner, so I had to go elsewhere for food at night.
