"Straight away, from the outside The Beach looked inviting and the location really was perfect. On checking in, the young lady at the desk was extremely helpful, cheerful and efficient. The room was light, airy and very clean with everything you need at hand. The shower was, without a doubt, the best hotel shower we had ever used, hot for as long as we needed it and fabulous pressure behind it. "Really enjoyed our stay in this lovely Manor House. Jakes and Jane were extremely welcoming and friendly. Our room was very comfortable. Tea, coffee and biscuits provided in room daily were very welcomed after a day walking on the Moors. An amazing breakfast every morning which was delicious. Lovely and peaceful location with easy access to Dartmoor and Cornwall. Would definitely stay here again."
