"We stayed here for just 1 night on our way to our next week's stay on the Mosel. This hotel is very nice with nice friendly staff and a good choice of breakfast food and drink including free champagne with your breakfast. Lots of people there seemed to like a glass or two of the champagne but unfortunately for me riding our motorcycle drink and motorcycles don't mix so I had to give that one a miss as did my wife who is my passenger. "We know the location since the late 1970s, always a food destination. Now with new owners and chef even more so - a real treat! Hotel had its quirks from Wi-Fi that only worked when standing by the door of our room (didn’t work in the lounge) to light bulbs out and forgotten breakfast items, some attention is needed. Not four stars."

"Location is magical in a beautiful forest in the middle of nowhere (and yet only 10-15 min drive to civilisation and 60 min. to major Alsace attractions). Food is star league, room is great in every aspect we hade a wonderful 2 night stay."
