"Lovely clean room but small at the end of corridor and overlooking station. Parking extortionate however quite good location to town. Used the leisure facilities which were nice and quiet in the morning."

"Lobby uninteresting Room dark Only one pillow for one guest Towels poor condition No fridge in room to keep water cool . Sofa seating underneath TV cupboard. Not comfortable seating area. Best for train station accessibility and entrance to York centre ."

"Lovely, comfortable and clean hotel. Great location, with a good breakfast and bar and friendly staff. Let down slightly by very minor issues, such as wrong tv remote, lack of parking and tricky to use room heating. Also, breakfast hours could do with being longer as it can get extremely busy. But overall, a lovely stay and would recommend."

"Overall an OK stay but not worth the price tag. Visited at half term, hotel appeared under prepared. All staff were helpful and polite but clearly under staffed so not necessarily their fault. Room not ready 2 hours after check-in, walkways not maintained, dirty glasses and plates with food on outside a lot of rooms. 1 bath robe in the room for 3 guests, toilet in the room didn't flush and whole bathroom in need of basic repairs. Bar/restaurant stopped taking food orders at 7:20pm in school...

"Was all fine apart from strangers blone hairs hanging off lamp in room and also lamp had never had a dust in what looked like many months. Didn't want to have a proper look around incase anything else was found!!"
