"We were disappointed with our stay. To begin with, we had to call multiple times to connect with the hotel to shuttle us from the airport. We waited 20 min when the hotel was 6 min away. When we arrived, we were told that our room was in a separate building, far from the hotel. It took us 10-15 to find and get to the room, lugging 4 suitcases after an 8 hour plane ride. The location of this building was right next to construction so we had to keep the drapes closed.
The room was somewhat clean,...
"Fantastic location near San Marco Square. Very helpful staff. The breakfast was not up to par with cold food - supposed to be hot and not a lot of variety."
"**Charming historic gem in the heart of Venice**
Staying at Hotel Duodo felt like stepping into old Venice. The building is historic and full of character, and the interiors are beautifully decorated with real attention to detail. Every corner feels elegant and warm, exactly what you hope for in a Venetian hotel.
The staff were wonderful. They were kind, helpful, and welcoming from the moment we arrived, and they made our stay feel easy and personal.
The location is the hotel's biggest...
"We were pleasantly surprised with a lovely upgrade to our room! The hotel rooms are wonderful. Very comfortable and quiet.
The lagoon is right outside the front door and is stunning at all times of the day.
It is a bit of a walk to the main square but easily doable."
"We stayed in one of the apartments owned and operated by the hotel and loved it! The unit was roomy and had a kitchenette with a fridge, hotplate and Nespresso machine plus dishes and pots and pans, everything you would need to make a meal. It was quiet, private and an excellent location. An excellent choice!"
