"So disappointed - avoid this establishment until something changes!
We arrived just before 8pm and went straight to check in and have dinner in the restaurant, we were informed that the kitchen was busy and there would be a wait, which was fine, however 90mins later we still had no food and when it did come out it was lukewarm and three out of seven meals were missing something. Further to this the children’s carrot and cucumber starter looked like it had been prepared days before -

"Staff were very friendly and helpful.
The room we had (family room) was tired and well used.
Poorly set out, occupants of the double room had to go through the twin room to access the bath room.
Unfortunately very noisy hot and smelly due the kitchen extractor fan located outside the bedroom window.
Breakfast although served by helpful waitress was poor, I x small rasher of bacon, a small what looked like and tasted like cheap brand sausage.
Toast was thin tasteless cheap (45p) supermarket...
"Attending a wedding there. Stayed there for 3 days. Room was clean. Staff were excellent. Good breakfast unfortunately, the room had no air conditioning being downstairs. You had to be careful about leaving the window open, would we stay there again? Yes"

The lodge was clean and well equipped and had the added luxury of a hot tub.
We didnt try the axe throwing or the archery but we will be back so who knows"

"The staff were friendly, fun and efficient. A disabled parking space was close by for my husband and the ground floor bedroom exceptionally well accommodated and comfortable along with a wet room!
The bar was fun, friendly and busy with excellent menu, great service and atmosphere.
A local group of friends informally got together with instruments and voices. Much enjoyed.
