"The room was very nice, there was adequate parking. The breakfast was very good. The staff on reception were very polite and helpful. The room was cleaned every day.
The restaurant manager was very unhelpful and rude when we had an issue with our bill, she wouldn't acknowledge us and kept sending us back and forth via waitresses to try and resolve this. The next morning the manager on reception sorted it no problem and was very helpful. One of the waitresses took our drinks order and came back...

"Great breakfast prepared by the owner with personalized choices. Lots of great info provided by the owners which helped us make choices for activities. Walkable to bus, local train and Dunster Castle. Our room was great with view of the Village. Will definitely stay again and do more in the Exmoor National Park as the Park Info Center is right in the town. Easy access to Minehead and start of the South West Coastal Path."
"The staff were friendly, fun and efficient. A disabled parking space was close by for my husband and the ground floor bedroom exceptionally well accommodated and comfortable along with a wet room!
The bar was fun, friendly and busy with excellent menu, great service and atmosphere.
A local group of friends informally got together with instruments and voices. Much enjoyed.

"I called a few days ahead of our stay to let them
Know that my daughter was celebrating her 16th birthday on that day and if they could do anything special for this. They said they couldn’t as they only provide champagne for adults and they are very busy so won’t have time. I suggested maybe a small card and a few chocolates just as a welcome gesture. He sighed and seemed annoyed I had pushed the point.
When we arrived I noticed the carpets in bedrooms were very obviously stained and worn out....
