"We have stayed here several times and it complteley suits our needs. Very nice accommodation, just like a normal house. Only issues were slow check-in and we were disappointed by restaurant opening times"

"Beautiful historic hotel sensibly and chicly updated. Staff very attentive. Our suite was quite comfortable..terrific bed and lovely bath including charming decor and sitting area. The gardens are amazing and you can walk down to the river Tamar from the hotel. Breakfasts amazing, dinner good. Small niggle; pillows are all the same. I like a softer version fwiw. Hope to come back again; really a stunning spot."

"The hotel/guest house is ideally situated in a quieter residential area, but still within easy reach of all amenities. The room was clean and bright, the bed very comfortable and the bathroom facilities good. The service was excellent, if perhaps a little slow, but that did not detract from my experience in any way. I stayed in Bothywick with my grandma and on the day I had to go to a wedding my grandma was looked after by Pat and Tony, they really went above and beyond for her!
