"Mirage has excellent location, right above the water, with a walkway to get to Airlie beach and the marina. It also has a bus stop just down the road to get to Airlie beach or any other location. The apartment was huge with sweeping views of the water. The only negative for me was the bed, which was too soft but that is individual preference. "The boathouses were clean and tidy. Staff very friendly. We only stayed one night. The swing seats on the deck next to the pool was a nice feature. The continental breakfast was really good. Small selection but well thought.
The place is a bit tucked in with Northerlies just next door for food and drinks (pub style food).

"We had a penthouse booked and there was no hot waterfor the entire weekend, which was a let down. It was Luke warm at best.
One of our guest (whom is pregnant) informed the maintenance man we had no hot water. The maintenance man said just "use the spa that has heat".
She informed the maintenance man that she is pregnant and can not have a spa as its dangerous for pregnancies.
He simply responded with "that sucks".
The property was nice and comfortable but no hot water and a terrible customer...
"Located next to marina. Convenient location. Apartment was clean. Undercover secure carport downstairs with lift access.
The only downside is there is no curtain for the front which is all glass. There ia a metal gate privacy screen but you can see through to outside and people can see inside."

Cons: One of our friends at the twin single bed rooms’ bed had old stains on her linen, so she wasn’t too comfortable in sleeping in it. And the floors were a bit dirty! Wifi was very weak. Parking was a little tight but overall is a very affordable...
