"The hotel itself was great and all staff were welcoming and lovely. My room was pristine and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The food was perfect (I LOVED the burger and chips), but the buffet breakfast probably wouldn’t be good for picky European eaters (I’m sure one morning I had what looked to be mincemeat??)- whilst the buffet breakfast food may have been different to what I’m used to, it was still very very nice. "This place is a HIDDEN GEM!! We did three Haciendas in three days including Hacienda Xcanatun which is supposed to be a luxury stay, but doesn’t hold a candle to this place. The accommodations were amazing, super clean, pools were clean, sunbeds were clean. The food was delicious and so fresh, the grounds are stunning with so many beautiful photos ops and walks. The staff were amazing, Jesus, Dulce and Luz, gave us incredible top notch service. They had table tennis for our kids and tv rooms...

"La atención y amabilidad del personal es excelente. Sin embargo Nono tiene lo que pagas. El hotel no es barato y los amenities brillan por su ausencia, un simple jabón de manos que hace la función de gel de baño un shampoo y un acondicionador es lo único que hay. El estado de las toallas en la habitacion, spa y piscina es deplorable, la calidad del juego de cama de cálida inferior a lo que uno paga. La piscina fría. Con cosas simples el hotel de una habitación podría tener las 5 estrellas. "

"el hotel divino, la decoración romántica, habitación amplia, baño amplio, excelente atención del personal, cama exquisita de muy buena calidad, fachada con jardinera lindísimas agradable a simple vista. Un 10 en limpieza. Todo está muy cuidado, ampliamente recomendado, el personal muy amable la comida deliciosa y la ubicación excelente a unos pasos de los restaurantes para cenar o comer, muy limpios y arreglados de una manera muy acogedora, a un paso de la playa. un lugar real mente fantástico...

"We couldn’t get into the place. We arrived and there was no one anywhere on the property. Didn’t seem like there were any guests either. The reception was completely empty. It was very eerie and we drove far out of our way for this place. We left and had to drive all the way to Cancun. Worst experience with a hotel I’ve ever had. Refund my money immediately please. Thank you. Arthur"

"The hotel itself was great and all staff were welcoming and lovely. My room was pristine and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The food was perfect (I LOVED the burger and chips), but the buffet breakfast probably wouldn’t be good for picky European eaters (I’m sure one morning I had what looked to be mincemeat??)- whilst the buffet breakfast food may have been different to what I’m used to, it was still very very nice. My only downside to this hotel is the location- there is a big shopping centre on the opposite side of the road but not much else within walking distance. As a young solo female traveller I personally wouldn’t haven’t liked walking the area on my own at night, but thankfully this wasn’t an issue for me as I was only in Merida for a festival and found some friends with a car. If you are coming to Merida alone, please do be conscious of this hotels location (Ubers were fairly cheap though!). If you have a car or are happy to use Ubers/buses, I would definitely recommend this hotel!"
