"Having read some of the earlier poor reviews, I was a little nervous. But I needn’t have been because this is a lovely clean and well run hotel in a great position. What surprised me most was the quality of the restaurant and especially towards the end of the week when lobster appeared on the menu. "Our stay here was exceptional, albeit after a couple of misunderstandings - that were efficiently addressed and swiftly put right. The hotel itself is very grande and the design throughout is tastefully done which, compliments the grounds and stunning panoramic views. The staff was always friendly and eager to help point us in the right direction. The location is very convenient for driving to all the top vineyards in the area. It is very much a family hotel with the gentle Nonna always about to help if she can. But to the main reason this hotel was chosen was because of Carlo's wonderful cooking.
