"The hotel is beautiful and we loved the position. We had a privilege room which was lovely, close to the pool/reception and thankfully meant we weren’t disturbed by the bar/restaurant next door. The staff were in the main really nice and friendly but often quite slow/disorganised. "Having to pay for drinks separately when our meals were included in the costs of the room was annoying. Did not know taxi service with the hotel is so expensive so stopped us from visiting some places. "

"Lovely stay for our honeymoon at Veranda Pointe Aux Biches. A quiet hotel with it's own private beach and gorgeous sea view rooms. We would highly recommend the Sandy Lane adults only part of the resort, and the day's catamaran trip was fantastic. "

Hotel only willing to offer 10% refund which was rightly declined. Offer upped to include dinner, also declined. Hotels.com were worse than useless and their rep couldn't even work out 10% of the total, failed as basic maths and under refunded despite me refusing the refund anyway. Went to American Express...

"The staff were very approachable and friendly and the ambience was nice. However food wise, much improvement needed in terms of the variety and 4* standards. Property is a bit dated. Ambre Suite could do with much improvement, there's big space but not smartly laid out out. Overall I would rate it 7/10. "

"From arrival to departure,we always were greeted with a smile and utmost courtesy. The property is kept in pristine condition, various pool areas to suit family ,couples etc. The all inclusive options are excellent value. We got to chat with Mr Sachi Bundun( hope I got his name right !!) as he oversaw the personnel at meal times .He answered our queries and happy to throw in his suggestions. We also want to commend Lensley who was always on hand to check if we needed drinks topped up by the bar...

"Our one week, all inclusive stay, was simple perfect. Great welcome by the team on arrival with fast check in to our lovely modern, bright and clean room. No TV in room as it's all about switching off from and that's exactly what we did. The property is only 2 years old so everything is just perfect, yet it looks well established. Choice of 2 beautiful pools with lots of loungers and day beds. There were organized sport activities and even complimentary glass bottom boat trips and snorkeling...

The breakfast was good, although we didn't realise until our third morning that pancakes, omlettes & bacon was available in addition to the continental breakfast. This should have been advertised. We had ants in our room which was disappointing & I would have liked some of the complementary toiletries to be refreshed but other than that it was a lovely stay!"
