"Great access to the buses. The hotel room was nice and clean. I experienced faulty swipe cards but that was fixed promptly and the staff were very helpful. The only downside was the area felt a bit rough for a solo woman traveler."

The reception was tiny and the receptionist seemed more focussed on her phone than greeting guests. I appreciate though it was very quiet and the reception area is a great environment to work on.
The internal areas are very tired (not to mention the outside) and it’s not the most welcoming of places sadly."

"I love the Swan Hotel very clean and the staff very nice , the Swan Hotel close to shopping areas which I like , one the thing I don’t like is the breakfast otherwise everything is ok I will always stay there when am in England. Marcella"
"Loved the large spacious room and the added bonus of use of the spa. The four poster bed was extremely comfy if not a little difficult for a short person to get in and out of. Only downside was the lack of mirror to enable you to do your hair or makeup and the world’s smallest water glasses. A very pleasant and peaceful stay."
"Really lovely hotel, staff always very pleasant and gorgeous courtyard setting. We had food in the evening and was very tasty. The breakfast had a good selection to choose from and only disappointment was the bacon, 1 x piece and no meat to it. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend to anyone considering a stay."

"Initial impression- good. Car park all gravel but plenty of parking.
Reception - water on offer but it was empty.
Were told our booking didn’t include breakfast but included 20% off food and soft drinks. Nice because we had forgotten. No information on where restaurant or bars not a big problem but it is nice to be told.
We booked a table for dinner. Was given our room key. We asked if it was possible to walk along the river from the back of the restaurant… no access it is only from the other...
